How do I check what type of lug bolt I have?
If you have an Audi, Mercedes or VW with original wheels you will have Ball Seat Lug Bolts. If you have aftermarket wheels, you will need to remove a lug bolt to check if you have Ball Seat or Conical Lug Bolts.

2. How to properly measure your vehicle’s wheel gap
Our Wheel spacer kits are available in many sizes, to choose the correct size, you will need to measure your vehicle’s wheel gap using basic tools. To properly measure, you will need the following: A measuring device with millimetre units and a straight edge such as a yardstick that is long enough to touch the widest part of the wheel and tire in 2 places. For accurate measurement, it is important that you check your gap when the wheel and tire are closest to the fender lip, this requires applying weight to the front and rear of the vehicle, the addition of weight is necessary because as the suspension is compressed it articulates and can alter distance between the tire and fender lip. Place the straight edge flush with the face of the wheel and tire combo so that it touches the widest point in 2 places, check your gap using the measuring device to measure from the inside of the straight edge to the inner fender lip. Make sure to measure the smallest gap between the tire and fender lip, sometimes the tire and wheel may be closest at the front or rear edge of the fender. Make sure to check your gaps on both sides of the vehicle. Manufacturing variations and certain types of suspension will produce different sizes for each side.
